“Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you! – Isaiah 49:15 (ESV)
A mother’s compassion and comfort for her children never ceases. This nurturing and care are carried by her older children to their younger siblings. What mothers are able to give is only because of the One who has given up eternity to nurture you.
One of the longest painting time I ever did, 6hrs +2hrs. in the process of finishing this piece, I was reminded of a very significant design lesson:
When you finally hit a wall, and felt like you’ve been forever retouching a portion of your art piece, the best thing to do is: “STOP – RELAX – LET GO – COME BACK” then you’ll be ready to face the challenge again and see the image in a whole new way.
So great to see this piece found its home in my goddaughter’s place, Hope (who will be celebrating her birthday on Saturday). She and her sister, Caitlin, will always be loved by her parents and the people around her.
